
Richard Browne
is one of the first licensed Acupuncturists in the
State of Florida in 1982. He received his Doctorate
in Oriental Medicine from the Open International University
of Alternative Medicine in 1994. And his Dipomate
in Homeopathy
form the National Board of Homeopathic Examiners in
1992. He was ordained as a non-denominal minister
in 1975 by the Divine Light Mission while |

living in the monastic order from 1975 to 1977. Since
then Dr. Browne has taught meditation and pray to
his private patience as well at the congregation at
the Unity Church of Practical Christianity.
He is the co-founder
of the Acupuncture
& Massage
College, the oldest colleges of Acupuncture and Massage
Therapy in Florida. He has served as President of
the Florida State Oriental Medical Association and
is currently President of the Acupuncture Physician
Association.
In addition
Dr. Browne holds a license in Massage Therapy in Florida
since 1978. He originally came to Florida to study
with the revered Master Shiatsuist Tomezo Hoshino.
He has practiced and taught the Chinese art of Tai
Chi for over 30 years.
Dr. Browne
is happily married for the past 25 years to Nancy
and they have three grown boys. Dr. Browne enjoys
serving the health needs of the South Florida community. |
